Main inspection of six selected road tunnels in Troms county:
• Bjørgatunnelen (1180 m)
• Svarthammartunnelen (110 m)
• Skarvbergtunnelen (253 m)
• Toppentunnelen (3989 m)
• Lian tunnelen (1808 m)
• Kvernsundtunnelen (3222 m, underwater)
Inspection and assessment of the general condition of the tunnels and portal areas, evaluation of existing rock securing, and recommendation of short-term and long-term securing measures. Inspection of technical rooms and spot inspections behind vaults in the underwater Kvernsundtunnelen. The general condition of the rock securing and the recorded rock mass quality in the tunnels varied, with some of the older tunnels considered necessary to carry out a greater proportion of additional securing measures. Recommended measures mainly consisted of the installation of extra rock securing, tightening of loose bolts, and cleaning in areas with loose rock.
