The Project
The expansion of the existing Sellrain-Silz power plant group involves the construction of a dam (Kühtai reservoir) and a penstock to the existing Finstertal reservoir. Works include a power plant cavern and a diversion tunnel with 6 intakes in the Ötztal and Hinteres Stubaital. The result is an important contribution to the energy transition in Austria’s Tirol region.
