The Project
The project comprised a comprehensive feasibility study for the future development of Tallinn Airport, providing the client with a solid technical and strategic basis for both short-term and long-term planning.
The study included a long-term traffic forecast, capacity analysis, and environmental management framework, establishing guidelines for sustainable airport growth.
Several development scenarios were defined and evaluated through technical, operational, and environmental criteria, leading to a preferred alternative concept.
The assignment also encompassed the conceptual design and implementation programme for the terminal and apron areas (Phases I & II), including airside infrastructure, de-icing zones, and landside access systems, together with a financial and cost-benefit analysis supporting investment prioritisation.
